- Who We Are
During an online conference, Baiterek Holding presented the Unified Service for Public Procurement developed by the Center for Market Monitoring and Expertise (CMME) of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
The conference was attended by employees of the Holding’s central office and subsidiaries.
– In the State of the Union, President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that all public purchases should be as transparent as possible and done on a unified platform. Following this instruction, the CMME created the Unified Service for Public Procurement, which increases the transparency and accessibility of the public procurement market. This is an analytical portal where information from Kazakhstan’s five largest public procurement websites is consolidated. The portal also analyzes information and identifies corruption risks with the help of the database accumulated from all integrated systems, – said Dina Akrachkova, head of the Baiterek Holding’s administration.
Zhanna Taybergenova, the CMME’s business analyst, stated that the portal can be useful for entrepreneurs since its main purpose is to involve more Kazakhstan’s businessmen in public procurement.
– Entrepreneurs now have a convenient way to access procurement trading platforms, Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Baiterek Holding JSC, and other companies of the quasi-public sector. In addition, the portal contains information with instructions and rules for all trading platforms, which is necessary to participate in purchases. The portal provides services that allow you to get a clear understanding of the procurement market in Kazakhstan, the number of purchases of goods and services by regions and individual customers, current prices, and analysis of competing suppliers, – said Zhanna Taybergenova.
In addition, the Unified Service for Public Procurement helps companies organize procurement procedures correctly, avoid mistakes, choose adequate prices for goods, study the experience of colleagues organizing similar purchases.
During the event, participants were able to ask the platform developers some questions and get answers.
