Implementation of the Concept for the Development of Housing and Communal Infrastructure for 2023-2029

 

 Results achieved as of November 1, 2023

The Kazakhstan Housing Company has provided guarantees for 38 shared construction projects, amounting to 135.7 billion tenge, encompassing a total area of 469 thousand square meters. This initiative has safeguarded the deposits of 5,678 shareholders.

The Kazakhstan Housing Company acquired bonds issued by local executive bodies, amounting to 100.7 billion tenge, to fund the construction of credit housing in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakhstan Housing Company facilitated the provision of 285 rent-to-purchase apartments for individuals on the waiting list of local executive bodies.

The Kazakhstan Housing Company subsidized the interest rate on loans to private real estate developers, totaling 9.8 billion tenge. It facilitated the construction of 1,220 apartments worth 17.5 billion tenge.

By subsidizing rental payments, Otbasy Bank facilitated the conclusion of 12,628 rental agreements. These agreements enable socially vulnerable citizens, as defined by housing legislation, to receive assistance for renting accommodations in private housing stocks.

On June 13, 2023, Otbasy Bank introduced a database of landlords on its website www.otbasybank.kz. This platform serves as a channel for submitting and processing subsidy applications for citizens falling within socially vulnerable categories.

As part of state support for citizens on the housing waiting list, including socially vulnerable citizens, Otbasy Bank disbursed 5,978 loans at preferential interest rates of 2% and 5%, totaling 63.75 billion tenge.

Otbasy Bank offers preferential mortgage loans to young citizens and residents of single-industry towns. In the first 10 months of 2023, a total of 1,991 loans were disbursed, amounting to 33.1 billion tenge.
