Zhandos Shaikhy participates in Kazakhstan Finance Day in the USA

On October 28, Zhandos Shaikhy, Deputy Chairman of the Board at Baiterek National Management Holding, attended Kazakhstan Finance Day held at Citi's headquarters in New York City.

The forum aimed to deepen Kazakhstan's economic connections with the United States and global markets, focusing on attracting investment in key sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy, including infrastructure, agro-industry, and technological innovation. Notable speakers included Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashykbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States, and Julie Monaco, Managing Director of Citi.

Participants included leading investors and experts, such as Robert Thomson, Senior Vice President and Head of US Government Relations at Visa; Mikhail Lomtadze, CEO of Kaspi.kz; and executives from major financial institutions.

During a panel session, Zhandos Shaikhy shared a strategic plan for attracting investment to Kazakhstan, highlighting priority areas for collaboration.
