The project for the construction of a university hospital in Almaty is presented to investors

The presentation of the concession project in the field of healthcare "Construction and operation of a multidisciplinary university hospital with 300 beds in the city of Almaty" will be held online for international investors.

The presentation within the framework of the road show will be held by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with the participation of a subsidiary of the Baiterek holding - Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund LLP.

Representatives of government agencies, the medical sector, service of healthcare facilities, domestic and foreign financial organizations are invited to participate.

The roadshow program includes the work of three consecutive sections, providing for the presentation of the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the project of a 300-bed university hospital in the city of Almaty and online meetings with the participation of stakeholders.

The Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "Kazakh Invest" Baurzhan Sartbaev and Minister of Health Alexei Tsoi will make a presentation on the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Participants will be given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the technical, economic and legal aspects of the Project. They will also be informed about the tender procedures for the selection of the concessionaire.

According to international practice, similar PPP projects are being implemented all over the world, in particular in Great Britain, Germany, Turkey, Poland, Canada, Australia, Japan and other countries of the world.

The goal of the concession project "Construction and operation of a multidisciplinary university hospital with 300 beds in the city of Almaty" is to attract private investment, introduce modern technologies and experience of international companies into the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan to improve the quality of clinical training of students, interns, residency students at the university hospital, accessibility medical care based on modern advanced technologies and scientific developments, clinical and laboratory research with the transfer of results to practical health care.
