“Baiterek” Holding took part in the investment forum AlmatyInvest 2018. During the panel session dedicated to the state support of investors, the project manager of the Project Finance and Public-Private Partnership Department of “NMH “Baiterek” JSC Rustem Kasenov made a presentation on the program “Leaders of Competitiveness - National Champions 2.0”.
The event was attended by the heads of the government agencies, national and international companies, NCE “Atameken” and other business structures and non-governmental organization. The discussion topics were growth drivers in Almaty, development of innovative technologies, franchising, investments and others.
As Rustem Kasenov noted in his speech, the program “Leaders of Competitiveness - National Champions” is implemented by “Baiterek” Holding according to the 62nd step of the Plan of the Nation. The purpose of the second phase of the program is to assist in the creation of competitive, export-oriented and technological manufacturing industries. The main area of this work is to provide financial and non-financial support measures to Kazakhstan medium business companies.
“An individual approach will be applied to each selected participant of the program and comprehensive support will be provided, including concessional financing and interest rate subsidies, export and equity financing, service and technology consulting, and preparation of project documentation” - emphasized R. Kasenov.
During the presentation the selection criteria, specific support measures that take into account the life cycle of the investment project and the needs of companies, as well as the main advantages that will be provided to each program participant are presented.
Applications for participation in the program will be applied until December this year.
