Kanat Sharlapayev meets with Governor of UAE Central Bank

Kanat Sharlapayev, Chairman of the Board of Baiterek Holding, has held a meeting with H.E. Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. They have discussed the prospects for financial cooperation between the two countries, including the implementation of joint investment projects.

The delegation that arrived in Kazakhstan from the United Arab Emirates also included top managers of Mubadala Investment Company and Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company.

Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries have extensive experience in working with public and private UAE-based companies. Thus, Kazyna Capital Management cooperates with Mubadala Investment Company through Falah Growth Fund, Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund C.V., and Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company. Also, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and ESC KazakhExport are considering several projects which are to be funded by UAE companies.

The parties expect the cooperation between Kazakhstani and UAE financial institutions to benefit the economies of both countries.
