Baiterek National Managing Holding and Lihua Agree to Cooperate in Cotton Cultivation, Processing, and Subsequent Export of Textile Products

On August 7, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Baiterek National Managing Holding and Kazakhstan Lihua LLP — a subsidiary of China’s Xinjiang Li Hua Group, which is implementing in the Turkistan region a project to establish a fully integrated production cycle in the light industry — from cotton cultivation to processing and export of finished textile products.

The document was signed by Zhandos Shaikhy, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek National Managing Holding, and Xu Jie, General Director of Kazakhstan Lihua LLP.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the framework of implementing agro-industrial projects for cotton cultivation, as well as for the establishment and development of production facilities, including the manufacture of drip irrigation tape, PVC pipes, cotton processing, construction and operation of spinning, weaving, dyeing, and garment factories, as well as the organization of finished product exports.

“Supporting comprehensive industrial and agricultural projects aimed at creating a full production chain and realizing export potential is one of the Holding’s priorities. We are interested in strategic partnerships with investors who use advanced technologies and create added value in Kazakhstan,” emphasized Zhandos Shaikhy.
