Gaziz Kulakhmetov, a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, and Lyazzat Razbekova-Toleukhanova, a deputy of the Maslikhat of Nur-Sultan, discussed the constitutional amendments with the employees of Baiterek Holding.
- On June 5, Kazakhstan will hold a constitutional referendum where we will vote on amendments to the Constitution of Kazakhstan. It is planned to make 56 changes to 33 articles. Among them are strategic changes to organizational norms, - said Gaziz Kulakhmetov.
The meeting participants have discussed the abolition of the death penalty, the changing role of the Parliament, the strengthening role of the Ombudsman, etc.
Lyazzat Razbekova-Toleukhanova also shared her thoughts on the upcoming referendum.
After the deputies made their speeches, the meeting participants asked them questions and got exhaustive answers. In total, 104 employees have attended the meeting.
