Baiterek Holding to select new members of the Public Council

Baiterek Holding invites representatives of non-governmental and international organizations, media, and government agencies to participate in the competition for membership in the Public Council.

The Public Council is being created under the Nur Otan Party's electoral program “Path of Changes: A Decent Life for Everyone!”

In this regard, the Holding announces a competition to select members of the group working on the formation of the Public Council. Seven people are to be selected, with two of them being the Holding’s representatives. Observers without the right to vote (representatives of non-governmental organizations, media, government agencies, and international organizations) are required as well.

Those wishing to take part in the competition should apply within five calendar days from the date of this announcement.

Potential members of the group working on the formation of the Public Council need to provide the following documents:

1) an application for nominating a candidate. The form is in Appendix 1 to this Standard Regulation;

2) a written proposal from a non-profit organization to nominate a candidate (if any) for the Working Group;

3) information about the professional and (or) social activities of the candidate;

4) a copy of the ID of a citizen of Kazakhstan.

Potential observers need to provide the following documents:

1) an application for nominating an observer. The form is in Appendix 2 to this Standard Regulation.

The deadline for submission of documents is May 8, 2021.

Documents are accepted by email: qkenes@baiterek.gov.kz. Please, be sure to write “a member of the group working on the formation of the Public Council” or “an observer for the selection of members of the Working Group” as the subject of your letter.
