Baiterek Holding’s Board of Directors reviews the agro-industrial complex development plan

Today, Baiterek Holding hosted a meeting of its Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of Directors. The meeting was chaired by Independent Director Philip Yeo and attended by Alibek Kuantyrov (Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Kanat Sharlapayev (Chairman of the Board of Baiterek Holding), Thomas Mirow (Independent Director and a member of the Committee), and members of the Holding’s Management Board.

During the meeting, participants considered a report on the results of the Holding’s work in the first quarter of 2022. Those present also discussed measures taken by the Ministry of Agriculture to develop the agro-industrial complex. In addition, the Holding made suggestions on how to improve the work of its subsidiaries so they could develop the agro-industrial complex more effectively.

The Holding also reported on what steps had been taken to help small businesses become medium-sized businesses in order to increase their export potential.
