The Sale of Housing in the Territory of EXPO-2017 Is Being Resumed

Sale of housing in the multi-apartment residential complex in the territory of EXPO-2017 International Exhibition in Nur-Sultan will be started on June 15, 2019 at 15.00, as it was informed by Baiterek Development JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek NMH JSC).

Previously, temporary suspension of applications admission for the purchase of real estate in the territory of EXPO-2017 was communicated due to technical defects arising at the fault of software developers. Currently, Arta Software company has revealed the software defects that were eliminated.

Selection and reservation of real estate will be carried out online at: http://expo.baiterek.gov.kz. In order to make it easier and save time, potential buyers are recommended to get registered on the Digital Baiterek web-portal until 23.00, June 14, 2019. Potential buyers can purchase housing in the territory of EXPO-2017 exhibition at their own expense or by attracting mortgage loans. In addition, the mechanism of buying apartments with installment payments for a period of 12 years at 3% per annum with an initial contribution of at least 20% of the cost of housing will be available to buyers. Only 1 apartment can be purchased by installments. The installments mechanism does not apply to the sale of parking spaces.

Applications admission will be carried out through Digital Baiterek single web-portal. To select a new mechanism, the buyer is required to specify the “purchase by installments” option in the “method of payment” line and independently establish the amount of down payment, based on his or her financial capabilities, as well as, indicate the category of military personnel, employees of special state and law enforcement agencies in the application, if applicable. Subsequently, the buyer shall pass a solvency assessment through the electronic platform of the Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.

The cost per square meter of housing in the territory of EXPO-2017 does not depend on the possible ways of purchase and amounts to 399 900 tenge, parking spaces – to 735 000 tenge. The area of ​​one-room apartments varies from 39.6 to 51 sq. m., two-room apartments - 57.1 to 80.6 sq. m., three-room apartments - 81.1 to 106 sq. m., four-room apartments - 105 to 123.4 sq. m. Accommodation corresponds to Class II Comfort and is sold in fine finish.
