The volume of financial support for the manufacturing sector by the "Baiterek" holding increased by 17%

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC National Managing Holding Baiterek, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, issues of the holding's investment policy for 2019 were considered.

In 2019, the subsidiaries of the Baiterek holding supported enterprises of non-resource sectors of the economy for a total of 839 billion tenge. Compared to the previous year, the volume of financial support increased by 123.8 billion tenge or 17%.

In order to develop the private sector of the economy in 2019, 5500 companies and organizations that do not belong to the subjects of the quasi-public sector or legal entities affiliated with them were supported in the amount of 712 billion tenge.

Thanks to the support of the holding of domestic exporters, the volume of exports at the end of last year exceeded 1 trillion tenge (in 2018 - more than 750 billion tenge).

The meeting also approved the risk report of Baiterek NMH JSC for the second quarter of 2020.
