New Comfortable Buses Have Been Launched in Pavlodar
30 new comfortable buses of Ankai brand have been launched in Pavlodar. The solemn ceremony on July 5 was attended by the Chairman of the Board of “Baiterek” National Managing Holding JSC, Aidar Arifkhanov, and the Oblast Akim, Bulat Bakauov. It should be noted that the buses were acquired within the financial leasing program for the upgrade of the bus fleet operated by DBK-Leasing JSC (a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, which is a part of “Baiterek” NMH). The public transport vehicles were assembled at Saryarka AvtoProm Kostanai plant. The amount of project funding for Pavlodar was more than 1.9 billion tenge.

The new buses are equipped with ramps for transporting people with disabilities and children in wheelchairs; they meet all technical standards and modern requirements. The total capacity is 56 passengers, the length is 8.5 meters. Additional comfort and safety are ensured by air conditioning, video surveillance system, as well as a video alert system for passengers in the cabin. The acquired buses will be equipped with a passenger traffic meter and fuel metering sensors, as well as the introduction of an electronic ticket system is also envisaged.It should be recalled that DBK-Leasing JSC has started implementing the Leasing Financing Program for updating the bus fleet under the Integrated Bus Transportation Development Program elaborated by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

- This is an important initiative since it not only provides a comfortable travel for passengers, but also supports domestic manufacturers. These are the plants such as Saryarka AvtoProm, Hyundai Trans Auto, Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan and SemAZ, which are located in the cities of Kostanai, Almaty and Semei. We are collaborating with several regions. In particular, earlier, similar comfortable buses have been provided for the cities of Shymkent, Semei, Turkestan, Atyrau, - noted Aidar Arifkhanov. The bus fleet upgrade program has been designed for a period of 15 years given the leasing financing on a revolving and return basis. All the regions of the country can take part in it, including private and municipal bus fleets, private carriers, travel companies and others. At present, five projects are being implemented at the amount of 16.6 billion tenge. 386 buses have already been delivered out of 615 schedules buses.
