Loans for Housing and Vehicles

The Chairman of the Board of “Baiterek” Holding, Aidar Arifkhanov, made his speech at the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on budget crediting issues of Zhilstroisberbank of Kazakhstan JSC and domestic motor manufacturers. Following the meeting, a draft Government Resolution on continuing the implementation of housing savings and preferential auto loan mechanisms was approved.

In his speech, Aidar Arifkhanov noted a series of key facts:

- Based on "Nurly Zher" State Program and the Law "On the Republican Budget", a budget loan in the amount of 28 billion tenge at 0.15% per annum is allocated to Zhilstroisberbank for financing the construction of credit housing for a period of 20 years.

- These funds are directed to concessional lending of Zhilstroisberbank depositors at the rate of 5% per annum with an initial contribution of 20% for a period of up to 25 years.

- It is planned to issue 3.1 thousand loans to the population for housing with an area of ​​186.7 thousand sq. m. at the expense of these funds.

- Since the beginning of "Nurly Zher" State Program implementation, Zhilstroisberbank has sold 14 378 apartments, including 8 724 apartments in 2018.

- In 2019, the Law “On the Republican Budget” stipulates budget loans of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan for a total amount of 10 billion tenge at 0.15% per annum for 18 years. The funds shall be directed to lending of the passenger cars that are manufactured in Kazakhstan, as well as leasing financing of motor vehicles and special-purpose vehicles, except for agricultural machinery which is manufactured in Kazakhstan. 

- Following the results of 2018, 28.2 thousand units of passenger cars with the label of “Made in Kazakhstan” were sold, where every eighth car was sold through the mechanisms of preferential car lending provided by “Baiterek” Holding.

- The volume of car production within this tenge budget loan will constitute 8 939 units, including 8 562 passenger cars and 377 special-purpose vehicles.
