Otbasy Bank, Baiterek Holding’s subsidiary, increases the limit of applications for participation in the Bakytty Otbasy Housing Program from 5000 to 7500.
The bank has allocated extra 20 billion tenge from the state budget because of the great social significance of the program.
From April 12, 2021 to May 26, 2021, one could apply for participation in the Bakytty Otbasy Program on the bank's website. A total of 37,592 applications were accepted.
On June 14, at 4 pm, the bank announced the results on its website www.hcsbk.kz. You can check the status of your application using your IIN or the application number.
When considering applications, priority was given to families raising children with disabilities and families with many children, as it was recommended by the Senate’s Working Group putting forward proposals to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as the Nur-Otan Party’s Republican Public Council for the Support of Employment and Socially Vulnerable Strata of the Population.
Inability to afford housing is one of the main problems that families raising children with disabilities face. These families cannot cope with this problem on their own and need social protection, help and support. Families raising children with disabilities often cannot work full-time, are forced to quit their job, or take an unpaid leave to look after a child. It negatively affects their level of income. Moreover, these families have to purchase expensive medicines and special equipment, pay medical consultants, etc.
Approved applications are distributed in the following order:
1) For families raising children with disabilities, all 4117 applications were accepted.
2) For large families (including mothers with many children who have Altyn Alka or Kumis Alka Awards, Maternal Glory Award of I and II degrees or the Mother Heroine title) – 2683 applications.
3) For single-parent families – 700 applications.
Candidates who are not included in the main list are included in the reserve list. If candidates from the main list cancel their applications, have free (released or repayable) funds for lending, or get denied for a loan, candidates from the reserve list take their place in the main list in one of these categories:
Large families, including mothers with many children who have Altyn Alka or Kumis Alka Awards, Maternal Glory Award of I and II degrees or the Mother Heroine title (after candidates from the main list in the “Families raising disabled children” category),
Single-parent families (after candidates from the main list of the same category).
Those included on the main list need to go to the bank to confirm their solvency from June 16 to August 16, 2021.
The income per family member should not exceed 3.1 subsistence minimum (106 336, 2 tenge).
To confirm your financial solvency, you will need:
– a borrower’s or co-borrower’s ID;
– marriage certificate/divorce certificate
– children’s birth certificates
– documents confirming income (certificate of salary)
– a spouse must be present during the confirmation process
The bank has the right to request additional documents.
After you confirm your ability to pay, you will have 6 months to look for an apartment.
