Baiterek Holding seeks candidates for new Public Council

Baiterek National Management Holding is establishing a new Public Council in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 383-V dated November 2, 2015 titled “On Public Councils” (hereinafter referred to as the Law).

To this end, Baiterek Holding is pleased to announce a competition to select members of the Working Group responsible for forming the Public Council on a voluntary basis. The Working Group will consist of 7 individuals, with 2/3 of them representing the Holding. Additionally, as per the Law, the participation of observers from non-governmental organizations, the media, government agencies, and international organizations is permitted.

Citizens and representatives of non-profit organizations interested in participating in the competition are required to submit the following documents within ten working days from the date of this announcement:

1. Completed Application for nomination of a candidate for the Working Group (see Appendix 1).

2. Written proposal from a non-profit organization nominating a candidate (if applicable).

3. Information detailing the professional and/or social activities of the candidate.

4. Copy of the candidate's Kazakhstan ID.

Prospective observers from NGOs, the media, government agencies, and international organizations must submit an application to participate as an observer in the competition to select members of the Working Group (see Appendix 2).

Candidates must submit documents to the email address a.nygmet@baiterek.gov.kz or in person at the following address: Z05T3E2, Astana, Yesil district, 55A Mangilik El Ave., block B.

When submitting online, please indicate in the subject line of the email whether you are applying as a member of the Working Group for the formation of the Public Council or as an observer for the competition to select members of the Working Group.
