Baiterek National Managing Holding took part in the specialized exhibition-demonstration Jańa Dala / Green Day 2025

On July 17–18, the largest specialized exhibition-demonstration in the country — Jańa Dala / Green Day 2025 — was held at the demonstration fields of the “Aqtıq” agrofirm in the Akmola Region. The traditional agricultural forum in the Field Day format has been held annually since 2013. The exhibition remains the country’s largest platform for showcasing advanced agricultural technologies, high-performance machinery, and innovations in the agrarian sector.

This year, the exhibition gathered over 200 companies from more than 20 countries, including Austria, the UK, Germany, China, the Netherlands, the USA, France, and Japan. More than five thousand specialists took part in the country’s largest agricultural event.

Senior executives of Baiterek National Managing Holding and its subsidiaries, which play a key role in the sustainable development of the country’s agro-industrial complex, took an active part in the event.

“Today, tens of thousands of agricultural producers are in the portfolios of our subsidiaries. Last year, we financed farmers for over 823 billion tenge; this year, we plan to allocate 1 trillion tenge. This is a record figure, reflecting the systemic support for agrarians under the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan and the Government,” noted Niyaz Koshkimbaev, Managing Director of Baiterek National Managing Holding.

Through Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC (ACC), flagship programs “Ken Dala” and “Ken Dala 2” are being implemented, providing farmers with access to preferential loans for spring field and harvesting works.

“In 2025, over 7,400 agricultural producers have already been financed under these programs for more than 485 billion tenge — nearly 3.5 times more than last year (131 billion tenge). A total of about 490 billion tenge has been disbursed, and another 70 billion is expected by the end of the year. These programs are among the most sought-after thanks to a 5% annual interest rate and a simple application process,” said Yerlan Ospanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ACC.

Financing for spring field and harvesting work is provided both directly and through second-tier banks, microfinance organizations, credit partnerships, and regional investment centers. To increase credit accessibility, farmers can obtain a guarantee from the “Damu” Fund covering up to 85% of the loan amount. The new portfolio guarantee system has significantly accelerated the process: now the agri-producer does not need to re-submit documents after the loan is approved by ACC.

In addition, ACC has launched the “Agrobusiness 2.0” program aimed at implementing large investment projects in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic (acquisition of fixed assets, construction and installation works, replenishment of working capital). A key feature of the program is a fixed annual interest rate of 12.6%, independent of subsidies and with no hidden fees. This enables farmers to plan their projects with confidence and without the risk of unexpected increases in loan cost.

Through its subsidiary KazAgroFinance JSC, Baiterek Holding continues to implement a preferential leasing program for the purchase of domestically produced agricultural machinery at 5% per annum. In 2025, 250 billion tenge is allocated for these purposes. To date, over 3,700 applications have been submitted for 154 billion tenge, and more than 3,100 contracts have been signed for the delivery of six thousand units of equipment worth 118 billion tenge. The program not only supports farmers but also stimulates the development of domestic agricultural machinery manufacturing.

ACC is not limited to seasonal financing and is actively developing new investment areas aimed at ensuring the sustainable growth of the agricultural sector. Together with the Ministry of Agriculture, programs are being developed to support investments in processing, agricultural infrastructure development, and water-saving technologies.

For financing large-scale and capital-intensive projects, the Holding engages the capabilities of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan (DBK).

“As a development institution within Baiterek Holding, DBK focuses on financing processing, infrastructure, and export operations. In the agro-sector, we support major projects — meat processing, vegetable oil production, greenhouses. The main criteria are specialization and economic viability of the project,” explained DBK Managing Director Kasym Mukhanbetov.

Kazakhstan’s development institution has already supported several major projects in the field of processing and production: a plant in Petropavlovsk with a processing capacity of 1,200 tons of seeds per day, modernization of packaged oil production in the Abai Region, and a greenhouse complex in the Turkistan Region with a planned production capacity of up to 23.3 thousand tons of tomatoes per year. In the meat sector, DBK has financed the Makinskaya poultry farm (90 thousand tons per year) and a full-cycle poultry complex in the Almaty Region with an annual capacity of 35 thousand tons.

According to participants, the industry exhibition clearly demonstrated how government development tools are being integrated into the practice of the agricultural sector. The participation of Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries showed that today, support for farmers means not only seasonal financing but also long-term investments in processing, technology, and infrastructure — forming a sustainable foundation for the future of the country's agro-industrial complex.
