PwC Kazakhstan has named Baiterek Holding the country’s best financial institution in terms of ESG information disclosure.
The Holding, which ranked #1 in the rating, is followed by Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, KazAgroFinance, and Kazakhstan Housing Company.
In the list of 50 best companies in terms of ESG information disclosure, Baiterek Holding was ranked sixth, having moved up four positions compared to 2019.
In order to form the rating, PwC Kazakhstan studied the annual and sustainability reports of 96 Kazakhstan-based companies. All reports were available in the public domain. The rating includes companies that submitted official applications for participation.
Based on the research results, a list of the 50 best companies in terms of ESG information disclosure was prepared.
