Members of the Board of Directors (Independent Directors) and members of the Management Board of Baiterek Holding held a meeting with representatives of the Holding’s stakeholders, the heads of large agricultural companies.
The meeting was held by the Corporate Secretary Service of Baiterek Holding following the Action Plan to improve the Holding’s corporate governance.
At the meeting, heads of Grain Consortium of Kazakhstan LLP, Olzha Agro LLP, Zenchenko and Co LP, and Dinara Group told the participants about the activities of their companies.
They noted the support the government and Baiterek Holding are providing for the country's agro-industrial complex in order to increase crop production, milk processing, grain storage, commercial agricultural production, and fodder production, develop animal husbandry and breeding of cattle.
Thanks to the financial support provided by the Holding’s subsidiaries, Olzha Agro LLP implemented two projects worth 17.4 billion tenge. The Dinara Group expanded the range of activities; the financing amounted to about 6.7 billion tenge.
From 2018 to 2021, Zenchenko and Co LP increased the number of dairy cattle to 792, worth 1.6 billion tenge. The company also implemented several projects to increase the number of dairy cattle to 2,600, worth 1.5 billion tenge.
During the meeting, heads of the agricultural companies presented projects for the production and processing of milk, meat, grain, and oilseeds; development of biomass energy; acquisition of equipment; increasing irrigated areas and storage capacities. All these projects require financial support from Baiterek Holding.
The meeting participants also discussed plans for further cooperation with Baiterek Holding.
