A Kazakh-Jordanian round table took place in the capital of Jordan, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Jordan in partnership with Kazakh Invest National Company and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together approximately 100 representatives from government agencies and the private sectors of both countries.

In his address, Niyaz Koshkimbayev, Managing Director of Baiterek Holding, emphasized the pivotal role of the holding in Kazakhstan’s economic development. He highlighted that Baiterek Holding actively supports investment projects across strategic sectors, including industrial innovation, the agro-industrial complex, housing construction, and export assistance. In 2023, Development Bank of Kazakhstan, the holding’s subsidiary, financed projects worth approximately $2.3 billion, while Agrarian Credit Corporation provided $768 million in loans, significantly bolstering the nation’s food security.

“Baiterek Holding creates conducive conditions for foreign investors, offering comprehensive services and support throughout all stages of project development. By collaborating with the holding’s subsidiaries, investors gain access to financing, guarantees, and export support. Particular emphasis is placed on projects in sustainable energy, IT, and logistics, making Kazakhstan an attractive destination for long-term investments," stated Koshkimbayev.

The round table also featured B2B meetings between Kazakhstani and Jordanian companies. Notable Jordanian participants included representatives from Hijazi & Ghosheh, Manaseer Group, Modern Company for Fertilizer Production, among others.

As a result of the event, nine memorandums of understanding and cooperation were signed between Kazakhstani and Jordanian organizations, covering sectors such as trade, education, green technologies, logistics, and more.
