Baiterek and BlueGen Ltd discussed prospects for investment cooperation

National Managing Holding ‘Baiterek’ JSC hosted a meeting between Rustam Karagoyshin, Chairman of the Holding's Management Board, and a delegation from the Israeli company BlueGen Ltd. The CEO of BlueGen Ltd, Hakoena Lihu, Vice-President for Business Development, Sivan Liad, and the General Director of Bluegen Water, Navon Kfir, participated in the negotiations.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information about the activities of the Holding and BlueGen Ltd, discussed the results of 2024, and outlined promising areas for cooperation. The parties explored investment projects for the construction and modernization of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) in Kazakhstan.

BlueGen Ltd is a leading global provider of environmental solutions and innovative technologies in the field of water resources, wastewater treatment, and desalination. The company has significant experience in implementing large-scale public-private partnership projects and has already conducted detailed studies of water management facilities in the cities of Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Within the framework of cooperation with Kazakhstan, BlueGen Ltd expressed its readiness to act as the general investor and contractor for a number of environmental infrastructure projects.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussions on specific steps for cooperation and the development of financial mechanisms for the implementation of joint projects.
