By the decision of the Sole Shareholder represented by Baiterek National Management Holding JSC, Kuatova Ainur Sainovna was elected Chairman of the Management Board and member of the Board of Directors of Kazyna Capital Management JSC (KKM JSC) from January 6, 2020.
The new head of the KKM JSC was presented to the team by the Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek NMH Aidar Arifkhanov.
A. Arifkhanov wished the new leader success in his work and set tasks to continue the further development of the funds and expand their portfolio of projects.
Since July 2016, A. Kuatova held the position of Managing Director of Baiterek National Management Holding JSC and oversaw issues related to investor relations, project financing and public-private partnerships, and export support.
He has over twenty years of experience in public service and in the field of corporate governance.
In 2014-2015, A. Kuatova was the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for strategy and business transformation of NAC Kazatomprom JSC and the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Astana EXPO-2017 NK JSC.
From 1995 to 2013, she worked as a senior specialist at Kazinterbank CJSC, chief financial manager of the Karachaganak Department of NK Kazakhoil, a department head at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, a business development manager at Konoko Phillips Kazakhstan LLP, and vice president of Lancaster Invest JSC , Director for Business Development and Marketing, KMK Munai JSC, President of Karpovsky Severny JSC, Advisor to the Minister of the Environment and Water Resources.
She graduated from Middlesex University in London and the Kazakh State Academy of Management.
Former head of KKM JSC Ardak Kasymbek was relieved of his post due to transfer to another job.
Kazyna Capital Management JSC is a private equity fund created in 2007 to promote the sustainable development of the national economy, build private equity infrastructure in Kazakhstan, attract foreign investment in priority sectors of the economy, use leading international experience, transfer innovative knowledge and technologies to private equity. KKM is a part of Baiterek NMH JSC.
