Businessmen of Akmola Oblast Were Told about Methods to Obtain Government Support

Businessmen of Akmola Oblast were introduced to the measures of government support provided by Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries.

A special seminar-meeting was held on July 10 in the city of Kokshetau. It brought together not only entrepreneurs of the region, but also representatives of Kazakhstan’s development institutions. In the course of the event, issues of projects financing, investments attracting, products exporting and other have been discussed.

The types of tools and business support terms and conditions provided by the Holding’s subsidiaries such as the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (DBK), Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, KazakhExport Export Insurance Company JSC, Kazyna Capital Management JSC, QazTech Ventures JSC and Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund LLP (KPPF) were explained to the local businessmen.

It should be recalled that Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries offer a wide range of business support tools: from the investment phase to the support of end products export; from interest rates subsidizing to loans assurance. The Holding also provides support in the preparation of project documentation, project evaluation and facilitates partners search.

It is worth noting that 214.7 billion tenge have been allocated since the beginning of the Business Roadmap 2020 State Program implementation (2010) for loans rates subsidizing, as well as 13.8 billion for loans guaranteeing. As of today, these funds have allowed subsidizing about 12.6 thousand projects in the amount of 2.4 trillion tenge and provide guarantees for 4.8 thousand projects in the amount of 179 billion tenge. In 2019, it is planned to support 14.6 thousand projects of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). 77 export-oriented SME projects for a total amount of 30.7 billion tenge have been financed.
