Baiterek Holding presented its experience in implementing artificial intelligence in corporate governance at a seminar hosted by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

On June 25 in Astana, Ardak Zhumagaliyev, Director of the Corporate Engagement Department of JSC National Investment Holding Baiterek, delivered a presentation as part of a seminar held by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on "Corporate Governance: Fundamentals, Best Practices, and Regional Aspects." The event was organized by the National Corporate Governance Council under the Presidium of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and brought together members of regional councils and employees of regional chambers of entrepreneurs.

In his speech, Ardak Zhumagaliyev presented the Holding's practical experience in digital transformation and the systematic implementation of artificial intelligence tools in the corporate governance of the group of companies.

The speaker noted that digitalization and AI occupy a central place on the state agenda. The Head of State's declaration of 2026 as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence underscores the strategic importance of this work, and the implementation of a national strategy for the large-scale implementation of AI places a special responsibility on the quasi-public sector to improve the transparency and quality of corporate processes.

Particular attention was paid to four areas of AI application within the Holding: investment activities, human resources management, the development of its own corporate AI platform, and the creation of digital solutions for corporate governance. Today, artificial intelligence technologies are used for preliminary analysis of investment projects, automation of recruiting processes, development of a unified digital ecosystem for the group of companies, and development of internal corporate services.

The presentation showcased the Holding's completed digital projects, including a unified artificial intelligence platform integrated with the corporate portal Blife, a Collegial Bodies Portal for digitally organizing meetings of the Management Board and boards of directors of subsidiaries, and a corporate educational platform Baiterek Business University, aimed at developing employee competencies and increasing AI literacy.

The speaker also noted that 60% of the Holding's employees had already completed artificial intelligence training in the first half of the year, and that this figure will reach 100% by the end of the year. Moreover, artificial intelligence is not viewed as a replacement for humans, but as a tool that enhances employees' analytical and managerial capabilities.

"Today, digitalization and artificial intelligence are no longer a matter of technological development for individual organizations, but an important tool for achieving the state's strategic goals, increasing process transparency, decision-making quality, and the effectiveness of corporate governance," A. Zhumagaliyev emphasized.

Seminar participants were also presented with plans for the further development of the Holding's AI infrastructure, which include the creation of local computing capacity and the implementation of modern solutions for the secure use of artificial intelligence in the corporate environment.
