Baiterek Holding is preparing a unified personnel reserve
The development of managerial skills and familiarization with the projects of the Mangystau region became the basis of the annual field meeting of the participants of the Unified Personnel Reserve of the Baiterek Holding in Aktau. The program combined a strategic session, training, and visits to enterprises supported by the Holding's subsidiaries.
A single personnel reserve is formed from promising employees of the Holding and its subsidiaries to prepare for senior positions. At the meeting, the participants discussed the Holding's new Development Plan, their role in implementing its priorities, as well as practical teamwork and decision-making skills.
"Our task is to create conditions for unlocking the potential of employees and preparing them for new levels of responsibility. It is important that training is linked to practice, and employees understand the tasks and results of the work of the entire group of companies. Field meetings allow us to see the implemented projects on the ground and better understand how the decisions of development institutions affect the business and economy of the regions," said Dina Akrachkova, Chief of Staff of the Holding.
As part of the program, the reservists visited Aktau Commercial Seaport, where, with the support of the Holding's group of companies, an expansion project was implemented in the northern direction to increase capacity. At the KazAzot enterprise, the participants got acquainted with the production of ammonia and ammonium nitrate. The further development of the chemical industry in the region is connected, among other things, with the construction of the KazAzot Prime carbamide-ammonia complex.
The participants also visited the Sarkylmas Kuat LLP wind power plant with a capacity of 50 MW in the Karakiyansky district, implemented with the financial support of DBK, and OMIR glamping in the village of Batyr. With the assistance of the Damu Foundation, the tourist complex is expanding its infrastructure, acquiring capsule houses and landscaping the territory.
In 2024-2026, 84 major investment projects in industry, transport infrastructure, energy and tourism were supported in the Mangystau region.
The development of the Holding's human resources also provides for an international exchange of experience. On the basis of the corporate university Baiterek Business University, internship opportunities and joint training with foreign partners are being explored. The creation of a joint academy, the exchange of practical knowledge and the holding of regular training courses were discussed with German financial institutions.
