Baiterek Holding introduces AI to simplify business access to support

Baiterek Holding presented artificial intelligence-based solutions to support entrepreneurs, monitor agricultural machinery and employee performance at AWS Innovation Day 2026 in Astana. Usen Galym, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Holding for Digitalization, took part in the event, where he shared his experience of moving from pilot projects to the practical application of technologies.

One of these solutions was the AI assistant chat.bgov.kz, available on the BGOV unified business support portal.kz and the websites of affiliated organizations. He helps entrepreneurs understand support measures and prepare a business plan based on the official knowledge base of the Holding. In January-September 2026, entrepreneurs prepared about 900 business plans with an AI assistant.

"When a group of companies has nine organizations, dozens of programs, and thousands of customers, automation becomes a necessity. For us, artificial intelligence is a way to make processes faster and clearer for humans. An entrepreneur does not need to search for information on dozens of websites, it is enough to ask a question and get a clear explanation of the available support measures," he said.

Another project has been implemented in a subsidiary of KazAgroFinance. Farmers-lessees independently send photos and videos of agricultural machinery through the mobile application, according to which the AI independently identifies visible defects and forms a conclusion. Thanks to AI monitoring, the coverage increased from 3,000 to 24,000 units of equipment, and the inventory time of the portfolio was reduced from three months to two weeks.

"AI should have a measurable effect, and data usage should remain under control. Therefore, along with customer services, we are implementing a secure gateway for employees to work with artificial intelligence. It will allow centralized access management, query control, and step-by-step integration of new divisions," said the Deputy Chairman of the Holding's Management Board.

Further development of the solutions involves the creation of AI agents to verify business plans, marketing analysis and build financial models. These tools are designed to simplify the preparation of entrepreneurs for obtaining financing and make business support more accessible.
