On November 22, 2023, Baiterek Holding conducted a session with the Board of Directors' strategic planning committee. The meeting was attended by Alibek Kuantyrov, the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
During the session, Adil Mukhamedzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Holding’s Board, delivered a comprehensive report on the activities undertaken in the first nine months of 2023. One notable highlight pertained to the substantial support extended to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, with approximately 18.1 thousand businesses benefiting from the financial instruments provided by the Holding’s subsidiaries, amounting to about 1 trillion tenge. Furthermore, 447 billion tenge was directed towards bolstering the agro-industrial complex, with plans underway to elevate this figure to half a trillion tenge by year-end.
The committee was also briefed on the utilization of funds earmarked in both the republican budget for 2020-2023 and the holding’s budget for 2024.
Additionally, deliberations unfolded around the Holding’s digitalization strategy spanning 2024-2026. This strategic initiative aims to enhance service quality and streamline business processes through the integration of cutting-edge digital technologies. Moreover, the committee scrutinized the Sustainable Development Action Plan for 2024-2026 and the Holding Action Plan for 2024-2028.
