Baiterek Holding celebrates Day of Languages

September 5 marks the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynov, a leader of the Alash Party, renowned scientist, Turkologist, and founder of Kazakh linguistics. In his honor, Kazakhstan recognizes this day as the Day of Languages. To commemorate this occasion, Baiterek Holding hosted a roundtable discussion titled "Til Zhane Menin Zhetistigim" ("Language and My Success").

The event featured special guest Alla Platonova, recipient of the Shapagat and Meyirim medals, as well as the jubilee badge for 25 Years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

During the gathering, Alla Platonova introduced her innovative project, “Kazakhsha soyle” ("Speak Kazakh"), to the employees of Baiterek Holding and shared practical methods for learning the Kazakh language. The attendees discussed how to expand the use of the state language in both professional and personal settings.

“Although I am Moldovan by heritage, I deeply value the Kazakh language, culture, and traditions because I was born here in Kazakhstan. This country embodies unity and peace. We must support each other and strive for success together. Knowing multiple languages is beneficial, but for a citizen of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh language should be a priority and a source of pride,” shared Alla Platonova.

Participants expressed their gratitude for the inspiring conversation, and the event served as an important motivator for employees, further reinforcing respect for the native language.
