Baiterek Holding joins UN Global Compact

     On April 16, 2024, Baiterek Holding officially joined the United Nations Global Compact, the foremost international initiative that integrates businesses into sustainable development on a global scale. This move underscores Baiterek Holding's dedication to upholding the ten universal principles of the Global Compact, which include respecting human rights, fostering optimal labor standards, championing environmental sustainability, and opposing corruption.

     The UN Global Compact brings together more than 20,000 organizations from 160 countries, promoting strong international partnerships between the corporate and public sectors. By becoming a participant in this initiative, Baiterek Holding gains opportunities to learn from global pioneers in sustainable development.

     “We take pride in joining a global community that values corporate social responsibility and sustainability. This membership presents fresh opportunities for us to advance our strategic objectives and encourages us to integrate the finest global practices into our daily operations”, – stated Zhandos Shaikhy, Deputy Chairman of the Holding’s Management Board.

     Baiterek Holding pledges to furnish annual reports on its endeavors within the purview of the Global Compact, showcasing progress in upholding its principles and contributing to worldwide endeavors aimed at realizing sustainable development goals.
