In February 2020, between «Damu «FRP» JSC and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), an Agreement was concluded with the responsible party between UNDP in Kazakhstan and Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, which provides for the following mechanisms: - Subsidizing the rate of remuneration of the entrepreneur; - Subsidizing part of the main loan of the entrepreneur; - Implementation and testing of a financial instrument - issuance of «green bonds» On August 11, «Damu «FRP» JSC, with the support of UNDP, made its debut placement of green bonds on the Astana International Exchange, the volume of the issue - 200 million tenge, circulation period of 3 years. Funds from the placement of bonds are intended to support SMEs implementing «green» projects through conditional placement of funds in second-tier banks or microfinance organizations.
