Rustam Karagoishin, Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek National Managing Holding, held a meeting with a delegation of the Pakistani company TCS Private Limited led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalid Nawaz Awan. The meeting took place as part of the Holding’s systematic efforts to expand international partnerships, develop export potential, and attract investments into priority sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed mechanisms for supporting investment projects, as well as potential areas of cooperation in logistics, transport infrastructure, global supply chains, and food security.
According to Rustam Karagoishin, Chairman of the Management Board of the Holding, the development of international partnerships in the logistics sector is an important element in strengthening economic resilience and expanding the country’s export capacity:
“For us, it is important to build partnerships aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving the efficiency of supply chains. The Holding is considering initiatives that create practical value for the economy and align with the priorities of state investment policy,” he emphasized.
The parties discussed potential cooperation models involving the Holding’s development institutions, including solutions aimed at optimizing logistics processes, developing distribution centers, and improving the accessibility of transport corridors for Kazakhstani producers. The Pakistani side expressed its readiness to jointly implement projects to modernize the Caspian Sea infrastructure and enhance the transit potential between the two countries. Khalid Nawaz Awan, Head of TCS Private Limited, assured that the company is also ready to become a reliable partner for the Holding in the Pakistani market.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a roadmap for joint actions and further elaboration of the proposed initiatives.
