On the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a solemn ceremony was held in Nur-Sultan to hand over the keys to new apartments to education and health workers as part of the implementation of the Nurly Zher State Program for Housing and Utilities Development and memorandums signed between JSC “IO“ Kazakhstan Mortgage Company ”, Akimat of the city Nur-Sultan, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science.
The event was attended by Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sholpan Karinova, Vice Minister of Healthcare Asem Nusupova, Akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NMH Baiterek Aidar Arifkhanov and Chairman of the Board of JSC IO Kazakhstan Mortgage Company Adil Mukhamedzhanov.
Akim of the capital Altai Kulginov in his speech congratulated the residents of the city on the Independence Day and thanked them for their courageous work during the pandemic.
- President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to the country's housing policy and the construction of affordable affordable housing for the population. Today more than 150 families have received apartments. We sold these apartments together with the Kazakhstan Mortgage Company among those on the waiting list who have been waiting for housing for years. About a thousand apartments have been planned under this program. More than 500 have already been allocated. Earlier on the Day of the First President, more than 100 families received the keys. The category of recipients has been expanded, in addition to teachers and medical workers, this program also includes social workers, employees of the DP, Emergency Situations Ministry, culture and sports workers", - said the akim of the capital.
In turn, Aydar Arifkhanov explained that the conditions for the provision of housing are unprecedented: rent with purchase for a period of up to 20 years, while the cost of a monthly rental payment will not exceed 1,455 tenge per 1 square meter. In general, he noted, the Baiterek holding will continue to implement its task - to ensure high-quality and timely implementation of the Nurly Zher state program.
- Over the past five years, more than 85 thousand Kazakhstanis have received new housing in all regions of the country. At the same time, half of the constructed housing is distributed among young families. I am glad that we are approaching the 30th anniversary of independence of our country with such good results in providing housing for the population, - said the head of the Baiterek holding.
The new residential building is located in a developing area at the intersection of M. Tolebayev and Sharbakty streets, near the Nurly Zhol railway station. Also nearby are the City Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 1, City Children's Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 2, secondary schools No. 57 and No. 13, shopping centers and grocery stores.
Among those receiving apartments are employees of regional and city hospitals, professors of higher educational institutions, heads of departments, doctors, teachers, paramedics, nurses, employees of the Lev Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the National Scientific Cardiac Surgery Center, the National Testing Center, the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, the National Scientific Oncological center, the National Center for Neurosurgery and other institutions of city and republican significance.
The Kazakhstan Mortgage Company allocated about 40 billion tenge from its own and borrowed funds to finance rental housing with the right to purchase for teachers and doctors. The first apartments within the framework of this program were received by education and healthcare workers in December 2019 in the city of Aktobe. Residents of Almaty, Karaganda, Nur-Sultan, Aktobe and Aktau also received apartments.
