Large-Scale "Ulttyq Ónim" Exhibition of Kazakhstani Manufacturers to Be Held in Astana

From May 16 to 18, the VIII annual "Ulttyq Ónim" exhibition of domestic manufacturers will take place at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana. The event will bring together 350 companies from all regions of Kazakhstan. Residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of locally produced goods and purchase them directly from the manufacturers.

Special attention at the exhibition will be given to products developed with state support, including through programs of the Damu Fund, a subsidiary of Baiterek National Management Holding JSC. The exhibition will also feature organizations from the Holding’s group of companies, such as Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, KazakhExport JSC, Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC, and BGlobal Ventures, a venture capital firm.

A wide array of industries will be represented at the exhibition: food processing, light and chemical industries, mechanical engineering, equipment manufacturing, and jewelry. Among the participating brands are Gormolzavod, Aq Dam, Galamilk, Altay Outwear, Balausa Jewelry, Kainar AKB, Su Bereke, Avrora, Almaty Turmystyq Tehnika Zavody, and many others.

As part of "Ulttyq Ónim", a number of panel sessions will be held featuring both Kazakhstani and international speakers, focusing on the development of entrepreneurship. The program will also include fashion shows, master classes, the "Halyq Tańdaẃy" tasting competition, prize draws, and live concerts.

The "Ulttyq Ónim" exhibition has become a well-established tradition that helps promote and raise awareness of domestic goods and services. Each year, public interest continues to grow: in 2022, the exhibition attracted over 20,000 visitors, and in 2023, the number reached 22,000. Sales volumes also increased — from KZT 70 million in 2022 to KZT 74.1 million in 2023.
