On Monday, April 24, the match for the title of World Chess champion — 2023 continues in Astana, in which Yang Nepomnyashchy and Ding Liren meet.
A significant mission to make the first symbolic move between the chess players was entrusted to the Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Managing Holding "Baiterek" Kanat Sharlapayev.
The head of the Holding expressed his deep gratitude to all participants of the championship and stressed that Baiterek always supports initiatives that contribute to the development of culture and sports in Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that from April 7 to May 1, 2023 in Astana, in the yurt of the St Regis hotel, a match for the title of world chess champion is being held. Yan Nepomnyashchy (FIDE) and Ding Liren (China) are fighting for the title.
