On May 20, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 13th anniversary of JSC “National Managing Holding Baiterek” was held in Astana. The event brought together the Holding’s management, employees of the central office, and representatives of subsidiary organizations.
Baiterek Holding was established on May 22, 2013, by the Decree of the Head of State. Over this period, the Holding has undergone profound institutional transformations and evolved from a coordinating institution for development organizations into a powerful investment structure supporting entrepreneurship, manufacturing, exports, the agro-industrial sector, and the housing sector of the country.
Opening the event, Chairman of the Management Board Rustam Karagoyshin addressed the team with words of gratitude and highlighted the key achievements of the Holding over the past 13 years. Since its establishment, 396,000 projects totaling KZT 31 trillion have been implemented with the Holding’s support, KZT 13 trillion has been returned to the national economy in the form of tax revenues, and more than 1.76 million jobs have been created.
“Behind these figures are the dreams of citizens who started their own businesses, the efforts of entrepreneurs who expanded production, and the joy of families who received housing,” Rustam Karagoyshin emphasized.
Special attention in the speech was given to the transformation of Baiterek into an investment holding in 2025. According to the Head of the Holding, this step marked a new stage of development and the assumption of additional responsibility for providing an investment impulse to the country’s economy.
As part of the event, a ceremonial award presentation of the commemorative medal “13 Years of National Investment Holding Baiterek” was held in recognition of contributions to the Holding’s development. The awards were presented to executives, employees of the central office, and representatives of subsidiary organizations who have worked within the Holding’s group of companies for more than 10 years.
Concluding the meeting, Rustam Karagoyshin congratulated the entire team and expressed confidence that Baiterek would continue contributing to the development of Kazakhstan’s economy and strengthening the country’s investment potential.
