Implementation of the President’s Address Priorities Becomes Key Topic at the Public Council Meeting of the Holding

On September 15, 2025, the seventh meeting of the Public Council of ‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding JSC was held with the participation of Council members and the Holding’s management. The meeting served as an important platform for open discussion of the priorities outlined by the Head of State in the Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”

Acting Chairman of the Management Board of the Holding, Yersain Khamitov, emphasized that the Holding, recognizing its high responsibility to civil society, is consistently fulfilling the commitments assigned by the Government. According to him, all efforts of the group of companies are aimed at contributing to the country’s sustainable economic growth and achieving the strategic objectives defined in the Address.

The document pays special attention to digitalization as a key tool for transforming all sectors of the economy. Yersain Khamitov highlighted that digital technologies must be actively applied in both the public and private sectors. The Address clearly defines Kazakhstan’s strategic benchmarks, and the Holding will continue to play an important role in their implementation, acting as the operator of state and sectoral programs.

Among the Holding’s priority areas remain support for entrepreneurship, development of the agro-industrial complex, and housing construction. In addition, the group of companies focuses on the introduction of digital technologies, stimulation of investment in the manufacturing industry, provision of affordable housing for citizens, as well as modernization of energy and utilities infrastructure.

For his part, Chairman of the Public Council of the Holding, Kazybek Shaikh, noted the importance of joint cooperation and stressed the need to consolidate the efforts of the state, business, and society to achieve the set objectives.

At the same time, members of the Public Council put forward a number of proposals and recommendations aimed at further improving the Holding’s activities.

Summing up the results of the meeting, Yersain Khamitov expressed gratitude to the Council members for the constructive dialogue and emphasized that the Public Council is a key institution of public oversight and partnership. He reaffirmed the Holding’s readiness for open cooperation and the search for effective solutions that contribute to economic growth and improvement of citizens’ well-being.

In addition, the meeting considered the Public Council’s work plan until the end of the current year.
