Demo Day 2025 Held at Baiterek National Managing Holding: Key Digital and AI Solutions Presented

Demo Day 2025 dedicated to digital transformation and the implementation of innovative solutions using artificial intelligence technologies was held at Baiterek National Managing Holding. The event was conducted in a new format for the Holding and brought together the management, employees of the Holding, as well as its subsidiary and affiliated organizations.

The welcoming address was delivered by Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Holding, Galym Usen. In his speech, he emphasized that digitalization is one of the key development priorities of the Baiterek group of companies and is being implemented within the framework of the Digitalization Strategy for 2024–2026. According to him, the introduction of analytical and AI-based solutions makes it possible to optimize business processes, reduce administrative barriers, improve the quality of customer service, and ensure data-driven management decision-making.

During Demo Day, the results and current initiatives of the Holding’s digital transformation were presented. Special attention was paid to the development of the Bgov unified business support portal, which implements the “one-stop shop” principle for entrepreneurs, including export-oriented services. To date, the portal hosts 73 services across six key areas: lending, subsidization, leasing, insurance, guarantees, and investment. To ensure round-the-clock advisory support, an AI chatbot based on the large language model Claude Sonnet 3.7 has been implemented on the portal. The chatbot provides explanations of service terms, recommends suitable tools, and supports users throughout the application submission process. As part of scaling the solution, the chatbot has also been integrated into 15 information systems of subsidiary and affiliated organizations.

A significant part of the event was devoted to the development of the data management system. Participants were shown the operation of the analytical center, centralized data warehouse, and dashboards that automate the calculation of key performance indicators and enhance operational transparency. Within the established infrastructure, 21 information systems of 9 subsidiary organizations have been connected, 150 indicators have been automated, 55 dashboards have been developed, and 5 analytical use cases have been implemented.

As part of Demo Day, an updated version of the Bvote Collegial Bodies Portal was also presented. The portal was developed using artificial intelligence based on vibe coding technology and provides seamless authorization, mobile access, and extended functionality for meeting support. It is already being used in the operations of the Holding’s Management Board.

Among the internal digital initiatives presented were the Blife corporate portal, the unified Holding career portal jobs.baiterek.gov.kz, which has 5,703 registered candidates and 12,773 processed job applications, as well as an ecosystem of internal digital tools aimed at process automation, access management, corporate development, and knowledge preservation using AI technologies.

In order to further develop a culture of digital innovation and promote the exchange of best practices, starting from 2026, the subsidiary and affiliated organizations of the Holding will hold their own Demo Days on a monthly basis, presenting implemented and pilot IT initiatives and best digitalization practices.

Following the event, it was noted that Demo Day 2025 confirmed the role of digitalization as one of the key factors in enhancing efficiency and ensuring the sustainable development of Baiterek National Managing Holding. The presented solutions will form the basis for further scaling of digital services and improvement of the activities of the entire group of companies.
