JSC "ESC "KazakhExport" with the support of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation held a chess tournament among subsidiaries of NMH JSC Baiterek. The event is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Holding.
Chairman of the Board of JSC National Managing Holding "Baiterek" Kanat Sharlapaev noted that the game of chess is not connected with good luck. “You can't rely on chance here. You can win at chess only due to intellectual abilities. It is chess develop strategic thinking, it is played by both children and adults. Therefore, I am pleased that this game is popular among the staff of the group Holding,” said the head of the Holding.
As part of the tournament, international grandmaster, first vice-president Kazakhstan Chess Federation, Vice President of the Asian Chess Federation Federation Darmen Sadvakasov held a simultaneous game session. He noted that Kazakhstan pays great attention to the development of chess and such tournaments contribute to the popularization of this sport.
In total, 22 participants took part in the tournament, the main arbiter was state chess coach of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for sports and physical culture, international grandmaster Nurlan Ibraev.
The winner of the tournament was the representative of JSC "Otbasy Bank" Yerkanat Musabaev, in second place - a representative of JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" Renat Medybaev, the third - an employee of JSC "Bereke Bank" Aldiyar Mamirov.
The winner and prize-winners of the tournament received memorable gifts.
