Briefing on the “Ken Dala 2” Program Held in Astana

A briefing on the topic “The ‘Ken Dala 2’ Program as a Key Instrument for Supporting Agricultural Producers” was held in Astana, organized by Baiterek National Managing Holding.

Starting from October 1, 2025, the “Ken Dala 2” program has been launched in Kazakhstan. Its implementation is carried out by the Agrarian Credit Corporation, which is part of Baiterek National Managing Holding. The program aims to provide agricultural producers with timely financial support and enable them to prepare for the next season without haste and financial risks.

The program was launched a month earlier than last year. This decision was made on the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The early start allows farmers to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and fuel in advance, repair equipment, and thus increase the efficiency of spring fieldwork.

As noted in the holding, early financing has a tangible effect: farmers can plan their expenses wisely, avoid resource shortages, and reduce the cost of the future harvest. All this directly contributes to the sustainability of agricultural production and the income of farmers.

“I would like to note that the amount of financing for the ‘Ken Dala’ program is growing every year. In 2023, 140 billion tenge was allocated for the ‘Ken Dala’ program, while in 2024 this amount reached 321.5 billion tenge. For the spring field and harvesting works of 2025, the amount of financing exceeded 500 billion tenge,” — said Perizat Shakenova, Head of the Press Service of Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC.

The main advantages of the program are accessibility and flexibility. The interest rate is only 5% per annum, which is significantly lower than market conditions. In case of insufficient collateral, a guarantee from the “Damu” Fund can be obtained for up to 85% of the loan amount.
