“Baiterek” National Managing Holding JSC Strengthens Cooperation with French Businesses

On May 28, 2025, as part of the Astana International Forum and the Kazakhstan–France Business Forum, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “Baiterek” National Managing Holding JSC, Timur Onzhanov, met with a delegation of leading French companies organized with the support of MEDEF International, France’s largest private-sector business federation. The French delegation was headed by Guy Sidos, Chairman of the French-Kazakh Business Council and Chairman of Vicat.

The meeting was attended by representatives of companies such as Meridiam, POMA, CLEIA, SUEZ, VOCAT, ARTERAIL, MND, and others. The participants discussed opportunities for cooperation in sustainable development, industrial engineering, renewable energy, infrastructure and agricultural financing, as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the meeting, the parties explored prospects for expanding investment and technological cooperation in Kazakhstan’s priority economic sectors, including industry, infrastructure, sustainability, logistics, and the agro-industrial complex.

We are confident that new joint projects with French businesses will drive the development of domestic industry and a sustainable economy. Baiterek Holding is open to investment and ready to provide the full range of financial support tools,” noted Timur Onzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Holding’s Management Board.
