‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding JSC and Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC Receive Smart Plastic Zone Recognition

‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding JSC and its subsidiary, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, have become participants in the Smart Plastic Zone environmental project aimed at promoting sustainable plastic management. Both organizations were awarded the Gold level badge, confirming their high level of environmental responsibility.

The project is implemented with the support of Coca-Cola and the GreenUrban Association, and is executed by GPI-Lab LLP. As part of the initiative, companies that adopt practices to reduce plastic usage, introduce separate waste collection, and use alternative materials are awarded with Silver or Gold badges.

Receiving the Gold badge signifies that the organizations have significantly reduced their use of plastic, implemented sustainable practices, and contribute to the development of environmental awareness in Kazakhstan.

Participation in the Smart Plastic Zone project is a natural continuation of our ESG agenda.
