Baiterek National Managing Holding held a webinar dedicated to explaining the mechanisms for financing investment projects implemented within the framework of the National Project for the Modernization of the Energy and Utilities Sectors.
The speaker of the event was Aliya Murzagalieva, Managing Director of the Holding. The webinar was attended by approximately 150 representatives of natural monopoly entities, regional akimats, housing and utilities enterprises, industry organizations, as well as other interested stakeholders involved in the implementation of projects in the energy and utilities infrastructure sectors.
During the webinar, the role and functions of Baiterek National Managing Holding in the implementation of the National Project were discussed in detail, along with the existing financing instruments, requirements for project initiators, and practical aspects of interaction with the Holding’s development institutions. Particular attention was paid to issues of project structuring, attracting long-term financing, and enhancing the investment attractiveness of infrastructure initiatives.
Webinar participants were given the opportunity to ask questions regarding financing terms and application procedures. All submitted questions were thoroughly addressed by the speaker during an open discussion.
As noted by Aliya Murzagalieva, the implementation of the National Project requires a systematic approach and active interaction among all participants in the process:
“Baiterek National Managing Holding acts as the key financial operator of the National Project and provides comprehensive support for investment initiatives in the energy and utilities infrastructure sectors. Our objective is to create transparent and clear financing mechanisms that will accelerate project implementation, improve their efficiency, and ensure the sustainable development of the regions,” she emphasized.
Following the event, participants noted the practical value of the webinar and expressed interest in further cooperation with the Holding within the framework of implementing projects under the National Project.
