‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding Discussed Sustainable Development Issues with Major Institutional Investors

On June 25, 2025, in London, as part of London Climate Action Week, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding Timur Onzhanov met with representatives of leading institutional investors: Goldman Sachs Asset Management, BlackRock, FinDev Canada, Wellington, State Street, Rabobank, Western Asset Management Company Limited, CDPQ, and others.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the Sustainable Development Impact Disclosure document prepared by ‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding in cooperation with J.P. Morgan DFI.

In the course of the discussion, Timur Onzhanov emphasized that the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) occupy a key place in the Holding’s strategic agenda and serve as a guiding framework for setting priorities. The Holding makes a significant annual contribution to the achievement of the SDGs through the implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, promoting industrial development, creating jobs, developing the green economy, and ensuring access to affordable housing.

The Holding also collects annual data on its contribution to each SDG aligned with its areas of activity. During the dialogue, the Holding’s representatives answered investors’ questions related to sustainability efforts. The investors highly appreciated the work presented, offered recommendations, and expressed interest in continued cooperation.
