Baiterek Holding Successfully Places Its Debut KZT-Denominated Eurobond Issuance Worth KZT 250 Billion

On March 26, 2026, Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC successfully placed its debut issuance of senior unsecured eurobonds denominated in Kazakhstani tenge. The issuance consists of two tranches: KZT 150 billion in 3-year bonds and KZT 100 billion in 5-year bonds. Both tranches were priced at a yield of 16.95%.

The transaction became the second-largest issuance of KZT-denominated eurobonds in history and was fully placed among international institutional investors, reflecting strong interest from the global investment community in Kazakhstan, even amid volatility in global markets.

The placement marks an important strategic step aimed at strengthening the Holding’s position in international capital markets and expanding its investment resource base for the implementation of key projects. The proceeds are planned to be directed toward supporting housing construction and the country’s agro-industrial sector.
