Baiterek Holding showcases agro-industrial financing programs at Jańa Dala/Green Day 2024 exhibition

Baiterek National Management Holding recently participated in the Jańa Dala/Green Day 2024 international exhibition, organized by Enbek LLP in the Akmola region. This event showcased cutting-edge agricultural technologies, high-performance equipment, advancements in animal husbandry, breeding, and innovative developments in veterinary medicine and plant protection.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, Akim of the Akmola region, Marat Akhmetzhanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Didier Canesse, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. Willy Kempel, Managing Director of Baiterek Holding, Niyaz Koshkimbayev, and representatives from leading agricultural machinery manufacturers and industry associations.

“The Jańa Dala exhibition united top professionals and companies from various countries to showcase the latest developments and technologies, while also facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge. The participation of our subsidiary organizations highlights the substantial contribution of Baiterek Holding to the advancement of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex,” stated Niyaz Koshkimbayev.

The exhibition featured pavilions of the Holding's subsidiaries: Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC), KazAgroFinance (KAF), and Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund, all of which offer extensive support to farmers. The companies introduced the Ken Dala 2 and Preferential Leasing programs, designed to provide farmers with favorable lending options.

As of July 1, 2024, the Holding’s subsidiaries had allocated 407.8 billion tenge to finance the agro-industrial complex, which accounts for 79% of the annual plan of 515 billion tenge. Additionally, ACC issued 812 million tenge as part of agency services for youth microcredit, bringing the total amount to 408.6 billion tenge. In 2023, the combined financing for the agro-industrial complex through ACC and KAF reached 529.1 billion tenge, surpassing the annual plan by 112%.

Regarding the agricultural machinery leasing program, as of July 1, 2024, financial leasing agreements had been finalized for the purchase of 4,965 units of agricultural machinery totaling 79.6 billion tenge. In 2023, agreements were reached for 7,710 units of agricultural machinery amounting to 178 billion tenge, exceeding the annual plan by 105%.
