Baiterek Holding presented financing opportunities at a meeting with Dutch businesses.

On June 23, in Astana, Saken Olzhabayev, Managing Director of Baiterek National Investment Holding JSC, took part in the 2nd meeting of the Kazakh-Dutch Business Council, where he presented the Holding's financial instruments and government support measures for foreign investors.

The event was held as part of the multi-sector Dutch trade mission to Kazakhstan and was organized jointly by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Agency for Enterprise (RVO), the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan. Representatives of government agencies, development institutions, the diplomatic corps, and business circles from Kazakhstan and the Netherlands participated in the forum.

The Netherlands remains Kazakhstan's largest investor: total investments exceed $125 billion, and more than 700 companies with Dutch participation are registered in the country. By the end of 2025, trade between the countries had grown due to exports, which amounted to approximately $6 billion.

At a panel session dedicated to Kazakhstan's trade and investment opportunities, Saken Olzhabayev spoke about the role of Baiterek Holding as a key development institution for the country, providing comprehensive financial support for investment projects through its nine subsidiaries.

Participants were presented with debt financing, leasing, direct investment, export support, guarantees, and subsidies available to both domestic and foreign investors implementing projects in Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the financing opportunities for joint Kazakh-Dutch projects in priority economic sectors.

He also noted that Kazakhstan has a stable macroeconomic foundation, a favorable investment climate, and a favorable geographic location, serving as a natural bridge between Europe and Asia.

"Baiterek Holding is open to cooperation with international financial institutions, strategic investors, and foreign companies. We are ready to consider various partnership formats and support projects at all stages of their implementation," the speaker emphasized.

Priority areas for investment included the agro-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, the chemical industry, transport and energy infrastructure, as well as projects aimed at developing Kazakhstan's processing and export potential.

Following the business council, representatives of Kazakh and Dutch companies held bilateral B2B meetings to discuss prospects for joint investment projects.
