On May 17, employees of "Baiterek" National Managing Holding JSC took part in a cleanup event held under the "Taza Qazaqstan" environmental initiative, launched by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Representatives of the Holding cleaned the area along the Nura-Yesil Canal — from Uly Dala Avenue to the Nova City Yuzhny residential complex. The campaign aims to improve the ecological condition, landscaping, and greening of urban spaces.
"The environmental agenda is a priority for the sustainable development of our country. Participating in such initiatives is not only an expression of civic responsibility but also a real contribution to a cleaner and safer future," said Dina Akrachkova, Chief of Staff of Baiterek Holding.
Since the launch of the "Taza Qazaqstan" initiative in 2023, more than 6 million people have participated. Across the country, approximately 1.6 million trees have been planted, over 5.8 million square meters of coastal areas have been cleaned, and more than 1.1 million tons of waste have been collected.
