- Who We Are
The agro-industrial complex remains a top priority for the Government of Kazakhstan. This year, special emphasis is being placed not only on food processing but also on increasing funding for spring fieldwork. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Baibazarov, shared these updates in an interview with Primeminister.kz.
"Farmers now have access to preferential loans at a 5% annual interest rate in tenge. Furthermore, Baiterek Holding recently introduced a new leasing program for the renewal of agricultural machinery, also offering a 5% interest rate for farmers," Baibazarov stated.
To support the domestic production of agricultural machinery, Baiterek Holding launched a preferential leasing program valued at 100 billion tenge for agribusinesses. The program will be implemented by the Holding’s subsidiary KazAgroFinance.
This program offers financing for up to 7 years at a 5% annual interest rate for purchasing agricultural machinery from domestic manufacturers.
According to KazAgroFinance, in the first five months of 2024, farmers have already acquired over 4,000 units of equipment, 60% of which are locally produced.
Applications for the preferential leasing program began on June 17, 2024. To apply, use the KazAgroFinance Telegram bot @KazAgroFinance.bot (https://t.me/kaz_agro_finance_bot).
