On December 23, Baiterek National Management Holding organized a Basic Life Support (BLS) course for adults, facilitated by the Heart Center Foundation.
Certified instructors from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) led the training, which was designed to teach employees essential skills for responding to sudden cardiac arrest emergencies.
“First aid skills should be a fundamental competency for everyone. Statistics show that performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before medical assistance arrives can reduce fatalities by half,” said Murat Zauyrov, Director of the Heart Center Foundation.
“These training sessions teach our employees to handle emergencies with confidence, fostering a workplace culture centered on safety and quick action,” added Dina Akrachkova, Chief of Staff at Baiterek Holding.
Background information:
The Heart Center Foundation is Kazakhstan’s first endowment fund for healthcare projects. It supports initiatives that advance cardiology and cardiac surgery, contributing to the long-term development of the medical sector.
