On March 30, the Information Security Service of Baiterek Holding conducted an in-person training event titled “Cyber Awareness” for its employees.
During the event, invited experts spoke about modern cyber threats, methods of social engineering and phishing, and explained how the Security Operations Center (SOC) works. Participants learned why the human factor remains the main entry point for attackers: according to global statistics, up to 82% of incidents in organizations are linked to employee errors.
The event concluded with an interactive quiz that allowed participants to test their knowledge of information security basics in practice. The most active participants were awarded memorable corporate souvenirs.
Baiterek Holding systematically works to improve employees’ cyber literacy as one of the key elements of protecting its corporate infrastructure.
